Junction Mills’ Future Technologies Centre is set to become a hub for cutting-edge automotive and digital engineering education.
In collaboration with Morgan Sindall Construction, we have utilised the Plettac Metrix system from TRAD UK to deliver a comprehensive external perimeter scaffold, alongside a range of internal scaffolding solutions, supporting the construction of this new facility.
For a new-build project within a tight city centre site, the use of a system scaffold brings clear advantages. The modular design of the system scaffold allows for rapid installation and dismantling of a rectangular structure, helping to keep the programme on track while minimising disruption in a busy urban environment.
The all-metal construction enhances durability and fire resistance, a key consideration in densely populated areas.With fewer loose components and a more organised installation process, site congestion is reduced, improving overall safety and efficiency for all trades working within limited space.
