Crossway have recently designed and built an extension to Platform 9 at Liverpool Lime Street Station as part of an ongoing programme of refurbishment works.

We have supplied and fixed GRP anti slip sheets to the boarded platform – as you can see it is a true reflection and continuation of the permanent platform.

Within the station building we are also providing temporary staircase scaffolds and edge protection to the old GPO building which is being demolished.

Another part of the works we are currently designing is another temporary railway platform at Liverpool South Parkway Station – this one is a little more complicated as it is built over an embankment and is 150 metres long and 3 metres wide.

All our works are all being undertaken during night time possessions due to the station being operational during the day.
