Lower Wortley Health Centre, Leeds LIFT
The government's Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT) programme has seen over 140 new health centres open across the UK. Crossway have been involved with several of these around the Leeds area, the most recent of which being at Lower Wortley for Miller Construction.
Community Health Partnerships are developing these models to integrate health and community services, this involves building relationships with construction companies and their sub-contractors to aid the process.
The new healthcare facility will be offered within a modern, innovative building, with a total area space requirement of 2, 458 square metres. The capital value of the scheme is £6.3 million.
